How it works

  1. Choose your addons in the drop down box
  2. Enter your full mod list in the box, be detailed
  3. Place your order
  4. I review your info and confirm the plan before tuning day.
  5. You bring the car in or you paid for travel, I run the health checks first.

  6. We tune and test, then you drive away with the finished perfected result.

Example Mod List

Car: 2011 Mazda3 SkyactivG

Fuel: Mobil 98
Goal: smooth, reliable, better response in all gears
Mods: exahaust 2.5" and muffler delete
Issues: none

Before you arrive

• Bring the car with the fuel you selected at checkout
• Make sure the car has no fresh mechanical issues, new noises, or leaking fluids
• If you have recent work done, tell me what changed

What if we find issues first?

If I find mechanical or sensor faults that make tuning unsafe, we pause and I will explain what needs to be fixed first.

If the ECU will allow it, I will load a safe base map so you can drive the car for repairs. This is a safety map, not a finished tune. Power tuning only continues once the issues are fixed.

When the car returns, I need to repeat the health checks and setup before we finish the tune. If the car leaves and returns later, a re-booking and re-test fee of $300 applies which we will send you a custom paylink on your departure

ECU locked scenario
If the ECU is locked and cannot be flashed, there is an extra cost to supply and program a replacement ECU, supply 2 keys if you dont have and complete the immobiliser rebind.

This is quoted and approved before any of that work starts.

If you are unsure what to pick at checkout, send your model and mod list first and I will point you the right way.

  • This is a sound feature only. It does not add power. I do not recommend it as a normal tuning choice.

How it works in my tuning
Crackle is only active on decel above 2500 RPM.
It stays active from 2500 RPM to redline, only while you are in that RPM zone.
To keep it active, you hold a small amount of throttle, around 1 to 4 percent.

    Why it can be harmful
    • Higher exhaust heat on overrun, more stress on the turbo and exhaust components
    • Can damage catalytic converters, it can melt or break them up
    • Can shorten the life of O2 sensors
    • Can increase backfires that damage mufflers and resonators over time

    If you still want it
I will keep it controlled and predictable.
If your exhaust is stock, you are unlikely to hear much.
Open the exhaust up and you will hear it.

    Rule
The louder the exhaust, the louder the overrun crackle.
